What is study-screener.com?
Study Screener is a title/abstract screening tool for systematic reviews. It supports manual screening on the free plan and optional AI-assisted screening billed in credits. It is built as a modern alternative to tools such as Rayyan and Covidence for this screening stage — not as a full-text screening or data-extraction platform.
What you can do today:
- Upload RIS or PubMed/MEDLINE files (multiple database exports can be combined)
- Screen studies manually with include / maybe / exclude decisions
- Optionally run AI screening with a 20-study preflight, rationales, and confidence scores
- Invite reviewers for blinded dual screening and resolve disagreements
- Export RIS, CSV, a signed AI audit log, and PRISMA diagrams

Upload your citation file(s)
RIS from PubMed, Embase, Zotero, EndNote, or Mendeley, or a PubMed/MEDLINE .txt export. Up to 50MB total. Duplicate DOI or title/year matches are combined.
Choose how to screen
Manual screening is available on the free plan. AI screening uses one credit per successfully screened abstract and starts with a 20-study sample when the set is larger than 20.
Review, export, and continue
Override uncertain AI calls, export included studies as RIS or CSV, and import that file into a data-extraction tool such as evidencetablebuilder.com.
